
Carrie Iverson is a printmaker, painter, and glass artist currently based in Chicago. She received a BA from Yale University and a MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work is in the the Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art, the Joan Flasch Collection at the Art Institute of Chicago, The Workshop Print Gallery (Chicago, IL), The Southern Graphics Council Archives at the University of Mississippi, the Duncan Collection, and numerous private collections. Recent distinctions include a CAAP grant from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, as well as acceptance to BE-Con 2005, an international conference on glass.

"Much of my work is preoccupied with how memory is processed and recreated, both physiologically and aesthetically. Through prints, glass, painting and installations, I try to dislocate seeing by isolating images suggestive of multiple interpretations. "
